SetupYourWebsites.com Update

James Orr has temporarily disabled the “review work” link. He’s preparing for next year’s jobs. So, we won’t be earning dollars this December. My last review job was on December 12.

Jobs completed: 63
Pay Log: $10.93
My referred writers: 9 including my sister

No more?

The Google AsSense Team hasn’t responded to my AdSense Account Re-activation appeal. They disabling my AdSense account really took a chunk out of my on-line earning enthusiasm. It has been days since my last blog update. I don’t even read daily emails I receive regarding AdSense tips. I hope that I’ll rebound soon.

For those who followed my suggestion on this blog—good luck and I hope you’re having a better time than me.

Google AdSense Team Reply to My Appeal Request

Here’s what I received from the Google AdSense Team.

Hello,

As you know, Google treats instances of invalid clicks very seriously. By disabling your account, we feel that we have taken the necessary measures to ensure that invalid clicks will not continue to occur on your site. Due to the proprietary nature of our monitoring system, we're not able to
disclose any specific details of these clicks.

Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further participation in Google AdSense. However, if you can maintain in good faith that the invalid clicks we detected on your ads were not due to your actions or negligence, or the actions or negligence of others working for you, you may appeal the closing of your account.

Google reserves sole discretion in considering whether to take any action on an appeal.

In order to appeal the disabling of your account, please email us at adsense-adclicks-appeal@google.com with the details requested below. Please compose a new email and do not reply to this message. We're unable to consider appeals that do not contain all of this information:

- Your name

- Your company's name (if applicable)

- Your publisher ID number (located in the AdSense code on your website with the format, pub-################)

- Your website's URL

- Date your account was disabled

- Your website's audience

- The source of your website's content

- Frequency of content updates

- The primary sources of your website's traffic

- The number of people involved with the administration of the site

- Any relevant information that you believe would explain the invalid click activity we detected

If Google decides to evaluate your appeal, we will do our best to inform you quickly and will proceed with appropriate action as necessary. If we have reached a decision on your appeal, subsequent or duplicate appeals will be ignored.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

Google.com AdSense Account Disabled

Today I received this email:

Hello Perfecto Yongao, Jr.,

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers.

A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including but not limited to clicks generated by:

- a publisher on his own web pages
- a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads
- automated clicking programs or any other deceptive software
- a publisher altering any portion of the ad code or changing the layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason

Practices such as these are in violation of the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions and program polices, which can be viewed at:

https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US

Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected advertisers.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense
Team

I don’t know what really prompted them to disable my account. Last time I checked I was earning more than $50. I sent Google.com an appeal to re-activate my account.

Advertising My Blog

A couple of days ago I advertised my blog at some forums and websites. I posted an introduction about my blog at SME.COM.PH on their “Business Opportunities” page. I receive an email inquiry but can’t confirm if she visited my blog. She asked me if “how can I be sure if it’s true.” I responded that “I can’t be sure right now because I yet to receive actual money.” She noted that I should inform her of the outcome.

I also posted my blog introduction to www.gov.ph/forum. It’s the Philippine Government official website. They have active moderators and it takes time before post can be read.

The third thing I did can be a little strange. I posted the introduction on eBay.com.ph as an auction today. I got one respond. I need your comment about this.

The server is busy. Please try again in a few minutes.

I can’t get into SetupYourWebsites.com. They must be having some technical problems. I read before in some forum that SetupYourWebsites.com sometimes just stops working. But they always manage to go around things—I guess. I hope they fix it soon. I still have some reviews to submit.

A Scare with SetupYourWebsites.com and IKOBO

SetupYourWebsites.com has three ways of payment: thru PayPal, IKOBO and checks. PayPal and checks are only available to US reviewers. International reviewers like me have to settle with IKOBO to transfer money overseas.

IKOBO services sounds fine. IKOBO provides i-Kard for account crediting and withdrawals. Withdrawals can be made (I think) on any international Automatic Teller Machines (ATM). But i-Kard is not free. On first payment request, SetupYourWebsites.com will deduct the cost of the i-Kard and fees for sending payment and the i-Kard from a reviewer’s pay. That is, the $20 pay request will arrive less.

I got scared with the i-Kard maintenance fee. How to pay for this fee? I checked IKOBO but found no straight information. What I found is that IKOBO only accepts VISA credit card—I don’t have a VISA credit card. Does this mean I won’t be able to sign-up or maintain an account with IKOBO? What about all my hard work reviewing?

I have posted the question in SetupYourWebsites.com forum. I got a positive response that the maintenance fee will be deducted from the i-Kard balance. I just need to leave some amount on the i-Kard.

Few Ways to Invite Visitors and Increase Your Blog’s Traffic

Goolge.com AdSense for Content works in two ways: ad impressions and ad clicks. AdSense ads are determined by the content of a particular website or blog. There are many ads competing for space on websites. Google.com rotates ads so ads won’t look stale. However, frequently clicked ads will often appear. Displaying ads is called ad impression. We don’t really earn with just ad impression. We need ad clicks. We need our visitors to click on the ads. But the first problem still persuades—getting visitors in the first place.

1. The first way to invite visitors or increase traffic to our blog is thru search engine submissions. It’s free and easy—but it doesn’t guarantee our blog being listed. Search engines use web crawlers to review websites and determine if it’s viable for listing. That is, our success with search engines depends on our blog’s content.

2. Another way to increase traffic to our blog is with BlogExplosion.com. BlogExpolosion.com does work but it has an inherent problem—it does not guarantee click through. Unless we really have good content, our blog may not get good earnings with BlogExplosion.com. In this case, we must make sure our content is just right to have “chance visitor” stop and consider our content—and our AdSense ads.

3. Another good idea is posting about our blog on web forums. A good web forum to consider should have a good number of members and is frequently updated. Frequently updated forums mean members are regularly visiting the forum. A better chance of finding that “chance visitor” who actually clicks on our AdSense ads.

4. Probably the best way is through relatives and friends. They should always be our first visitors.

I did no. 1 but haven’t got listed. I’m doing no. 2 and had visitors. I recently did no. 3 and I hope it would increase visitors.
